BEFORE THE DEPARTURE
A trip to tropical destinations it's not an holiday that we can do, unfortunately, all days: it's important then prepare it with the confidence to remain satisfied. For example, if you include children, some destinations are not recommended, since the resort and the hotels are not all equal. Some people prefer privacy, some other the animation, some more fishing, and so we must choose what it's the best for our personal expectations.
With regard to the Red Sea, there are all the international hotel chains: our choice, however, will consider some factor. The first, essential in our view, is the distance of the reef from the beach. In some cases it is contiguous to the beach, in others it's not accessible without a boat (and so it's less comfortable for long diving). We have also to consider other factors, such as the presence of European restaurants in the resort. It's not pleasing always, in fact, for the entire period of our stay, the very spicy taste that it's prevalent in the main restaurants, and is quite recklessly to eat in spaces outside the international hotels.
In the Maldives the problem does not exist: the whole life takes place within the resort that we chose, while in the Seychelles it depends on the extension of chosen island. Usually we return without using all that we have in our baggage. One thing that we must bear in mind is that it will be very hot, and consequently we will be almost always with the bathing costume or with very light clothes for going to the bar or to the restaurant, where normally are not allowed clothing too "discovered". At the Maldives in many resorts it's possible to walk barefoot everywhere, and therefore there isn't even the shoes problem.
